Last April 30, Kikay Kits was very much present in the Blue Water Day Spa event wherein they launched their new endorsers, Marian Rivera and Piolo Pascual. Yeah, not that star-studded. ( hahaha! ). They also launched their new Sahara Oasis Massage and Chocolate Slimming Massage. Twas a very interesting event as the two new treatments were demo-ed in front of the press.

Since bloggers are curious creatures, we were actually in front, in front of everyone! We managed to talk to the svelte beauty Bianca Valerio, the host of the event, for some kikay chat!

Reminiscing my trip to the south weeks ago, one of the most memorable stopovers sure was the Ilog Maria Bee Farm. Being the kikay girl that I am, that place was just paradise for me - being in a roomful of organic health and beauty products just made my day. That day, I bought Ilog Maria soaps in mini sizes to try them to decide which big sizes I will be purchasing via their website as soon as I finish them all.

I’m already on my second bar of their Lavender Honey Soap which, in my opinion, is the best bedtime shower soap, ever. But then, it’s not always night time, is it? We also have mornings that we must pull ourselves our of bed, and indulge ourselves in a morning shower that is energizing, refreshing, and delightful!

Two days ago, Sasha and I attended the Pantene’s Dare To Get Wet Event. It was a fun filled night as the glamorous names in the hair styling world as well as the Pantene’s Most Beautiful all came together to show us that hair fall can indeed be prevented, and water , our greatest enemy, can actually work in harmony with our hair, with the new water-activated formula of Pantene Pro-V Hairfall Control Shampoo and Conditioner.

Of course, I wouldn’t want my hair to be a mess as I attend the event, and I noticed that my bangs were becoming quite long and nonexistent already, so I opted for a quick stop at Greenbelt 3, at First Aid, to pay a visit to F Salon’s best-kept secret, Rico Gallegos. Remember him? He cut Sasha’s and Phoebe’s hair to perfection.

He first wanted to cut my hair and give it some concave bangs but I think I chickened out with the thought of it. Perhaps not my time yet, eh? Well, I opted for sideswept bangs. I think it made my face look chubbier, but hey, at least my bestbud M won’t be complaining on how thin I’ve been already!

To all my kikay readers out there, let me just announce that I have a new favorite hand and body lotion, and it’s the Myra E Hand and Body Lotion!

I was able to try Myra E Hand and Body Lotion one hot summer day in my mom’s room. My mom is such a lotion addict, that she’d jump in glee whenever I’d give her lotions from Marks and Spencer, and recently, I’ve handed my Elizabeth Arden hand cream to her ( which is a cult favorite ), since she loved to collect lotions. I was fresh from a bath, and I became curious with a cute tube that says Myra E. Well, first and foremost, congratulations on your new job! It seems that your job right now is going to be people-oriented ( PR ) because well, you’d be needing to apply makeup! Don’t fret too much because makeup is not as bad as it seems! Gone are the day when makeup equates to a cakey, powdered geisha look. There are very good makeup brands that offer really flawless and foolproof finishes that it just looks like your skin is very flawless, all even, without a trace that you have makeup on.
